WelcomeWhat is Curly-Girly? Providing craft workshops, demonstrations and parties for groups and individuals, male and female, of all ages and abilities. Unique handmade goods sold at Craft fairs, and at Belstead House, Ipswich. Who is Curly-Girly? That bit is easy to answer - me! Toni Peers Based in Colchester, Essex. Contact Number: 07847 098849 See my training page for future courses including Enamelling, Lampwork beads (making glass beads), Making Polymer clay beads, Feltmaking, Encaustic Art and Card making. I also offer one-to-one courses in Enamelling or Lampwork beads so please email me to arrange a date and time. You can book a one-to-two session, so bring a friend, share a craft and share the cost. Craft classes make great gifts! Contact me if you'd like to book a class for friends or family! If you'd like to book me to teach at your group or venue, please email me, or contact me on the number above! Curly Girly Crafts is also now on Facebook (lots of photos of past classes available!) My work is available for sale from Belstead House, and 'All about Time', Barleylands, as well as Guild of Essex Craftsmen Fairs. Or email me. About Curly Girly Crafts The business is called Curly Girly Crafts because of my hair - as you can see above! I have a certificate in teaching adults, have lots of experience in running a variety of workshops for a range of people, have been CRB checked, and I am a member of the Encaustic Arts Teaching Network. I am enthusiastic about all types of crafts, and like to demonstrate and get others involved because I think it is an important outlet for creativity and a great way of forgetting life’s little stresses - even if it’s only for a short while! My mission statement I offer high quality, low budget (where possible), and imaginative crafts including Encaustic Art to groups and individuals; including colleges, after school clubs, clubs, retirement homes - basically any group that wants to learn. Encaustic Art is extremely versatile, and offers quick results, so it's not surprising that is appeals to almost everyone. I organise craft parties, which can be for children or adults (Hen Parties welcome), offering such things as junk-modelling, themed parties, card-making sessions, encaustic art tasters, jewellery workshops (tiaras and beadwork at present but I am always learning!) I will also organise locally run craft events, where there is enough interest shown, on a fee per person basis. Guild of Essex Craftsmen I am a member of the Guild of Essex Craftsman for both my Enamelling and Encaustic Art skills. Forthcoming Events I will be teaching Enamelling, Encaustic Art, Cardmaking, AND Feltmaking at Belstead House, Ipswich in 2012. I also teach Lampwork (making glass beads) in Colchester as a one-to-one course.
I am now teaching Adult craft courses at Hylands House, Chelmsford.
Look on my Facebook page (Curly Girly Crafts) or on the training page for more craft training venues in 2012!
