Craft Party Plan

Are your children bored with the traditional children's party ideas, but you don't have an alternative? You do now - why not book a Craft party? 

The Craft Party Plan is based on a price per child.  I can accommodate themes (my price structure is shown around a Princess Party example). I come to a venue that you have supplied, this could be your home or a hired hall - that is up to you.  Travel expenses will apply to venues more than 15 miles from Colchester.  Food and cake are not supplied, but for a small additional fee per child see below I can supply party bags.

Examples of craft activities:

• Junk modelling (e.g. monsters, spaceships, rockets),
• Dreamcatchers.
• Mask-making,
• Tiaras and jewellery for little princesses,
• Card-making,  
• Encaustic Art - this is only suitable for older children (8 years plus).  Up to 10 children for this craft.

Examples of Party Games

• Pin the lunar module on the moon - a variation on pin the tail on the donkey.
• Pass the Glass slipper - a variation on pass the parcel of course!

These are only examples - you may have a party theme or your own ideas, which I will do my best to accommodate!

Craft Party costs:

Option A

1. Craft activity - e.g making tiaras and accessories for the Princess's Ball. 

2. Pass the glass slipper - a variation on pass the parcel, when the music stops the princess with the slipper gets a prize - I’ll prizes (some sort of small craft pack), so each princess can dip her finger in the Queen’s jewellery box to pick her prize.

3. Pin the glass slipper on the princess - I’ll provide the princess, slipper and blindfold!  We’ll bring some sweets to hand out as prizes to the winners here - (or you can supply something more fancy if you prefer).

4. For older children we would only do option 1 of this section but it would be a more in-depth session of perhaps encaustic art, beading, card making, junk modelling etc.

Total cost is £7.50 per child*  

Option B:

All of option A plus Face Painting.

Embellishments to make beautiful princesses for the ball, or pirates in search of buried treasure! I’m thinking small scale to fit in with a party theme, not full faces - this way they shouldn’t get too much face paint on their party dresses as the party progresses and won’t take too time to do!  Do ask for a price if full face painting is required.

Additional cost per child £1.00. This option is not always available as I need to find an extra pair of hands to do this!

Total cost per child £8.50*

Option C

All of option A, plus we’ll provide the party bags!

These would include:

• The bag!

• Small craft activity pack

• A wand, or similar accessory

• Sweets - you can advise if you don’t want this or pencils, pens something similar

We can leave these open for you to put a piece of birthday cake in.

Additional cost (£1.50 per child)

Total cost per child = £9.00*

All 3 options:  Total cost per child for all options = £10.00*

 *Plus travelling expenses charged at 30p per mile, as necessary.
